Fasting from Dessert: Day 5 of 40

After a few days without several of my favorite dessert items I enjoyed a nice "hot fudge" malt from Braum's on Sunday evening. The taste was "divine". The blessings of following the example of Jesus, who lived the best human life possible, gives us a foretaste of the blessings to come.

Monday provided a different aspect to share. This was the first day that dessert never really crossed my mind. I am not certain what this shows, but perhaps it is that the day of enjoyment before "satisfied" my cravings. Then again it could be that some days are just easier than others to be content with what you have. Thoughts?
